eeSiteKit 2.0 is fully integrated with the YAML 3.1 CSS framework by Dirk Jesse.
We’ve integrated YAML’s “Simple Project” Template for use with or without the YAML Builder for a quick, cross-browser, standards compliant foundation for your next site.
The YAML CSS framework has been in active development since 2005, is intuitively documented in 2 languages, globally tested and sites built with it regularly win awards for accessibility. It brings a new level of consistency and reliability to your eeSiteKit site.
This website (demo.eesitekit.com), was created using YAML’s Simple Project Template, the YAML Builder, the YAML Form Construction Kit and eeSiteKit. When you set up the default install of eeSiteKit, this site is a working example of what you’ll get.
If you prefer to code your own CSS (browser re-sets and nav-scripts), just swap out the YAML template group and build your own using YAML’s Layout Skeleton as a starting point.
