Pre-Coded Forms

eeSiteKit 2.0 comes with pre-coded forms that work with EE’s default modules and are based on YAML’s Form Construction Kit.

We’ve included most of the new forms here in this site using the default CSS styling from YAML. With forms coded this well though, you can style them just about any way you like if you know your way around CSS.

All forms are multilingual-ready too. All form-field labels are based on language variables, so when the language of a page is swapped for another, the forms in that page swap too. To see what we’re talking about, visit the Multilingual Channel and change the language of the page to German or Spanish, then click on the translated “Contact Us” link in the main navigation row.

We’re also including an optional European-style Tell-a-Friend link-engine as an alternative to EE’s default Tell-a-Friend form for use in countries with stricter SPAM laws than we are subject to here in the United States of America. Its not displayed in this demo site, but will be included in the distribution of eeSiteKit 2.0.

Also, these new forms all pass the WAVE Accessibility Evaluation Tool and provide great example code for the creation of other forms within your site.
